All the information I provided matches all the documentation sent to Etsy via a help ticket. The moment I hit "submit" on the tax and legal information page, my store was put on "vacation mode". I did reach out to Etsy but got no human response haha.

Avoiding Etsy for the sale = avoiding Etsy fees, not OK. Alternate: make a custom order listing for him without item details so any gift recipient won't be able to see WHAT he bought, just that he bought something.

It's quite possible even if shipped right on time the item will be delayed. Going on vacation can be a good tactic close to Christmas. Deliveries that week will probably not make it for Christmas.
