10 lip 2022 · I was able to find a pretty simple fix, just go to \My Games\Oblivion and delete your Oblivion.ini, with any luck it should run normally after that.

27 lip 2015 · I press play for oblivion and the steam window pops up that reads "launching Oblivion" and it goes right back to the launcher. I've installed in three times, a fresh install everytime. But a friend and myself have no clue what the problem could be.
23 gru 2016 · When I click to play, appear the window of Oblivion with "Play", "Options" and stuff and when I press "Play" the game start to loading, then, the same window of before disappears and appear again without start the game, over and over.
If The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion fails to launch, go through any installed multimedia programs (DVD writing, Music players, A/V editing) and uninstall any programs that install their own codecs. Once you find the one that lets the game launch, you may then re-install the other programs once again.
I just bought oblivion on Steam and while I can get the launcher to open, the game itself will not load. When i click play, the launcher just closes and then nothing happens. Here's what I've tried so far: Running in compatibility mode. Running in windowed mode.
You may need to relaunch the game from its install directory which is something like steam/steamapps/common/The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, simply launch oblivion.exe and it will generate a new, default oblivion.ini file.
20 mar 2012 · I am running windows 7 64bit and trying to play The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion. It installs correctly and the launcher will work but when i try to start up the actual game it crashes and gives me a black box and an error message stateing that a problem has occured.
