19 paź 2023 · I recently acquired a 2012 Multistrada 1200S and I'm looking for recommendations on a diagnostic system. I want to be able to perform diagnostics and maintenance tasks on my bike more efficiently. Could anyone suggest a reliable diagnostic tool or system that works well with my specific model?
16 sty 2024 · Brake upgrade for '12 MTS 1200 PP. Years ago I upgraded the calipers on my '06 Sport Classic Sport 1000 to the 4pad 4 piston calipers from a Duc 999 and the brakes on it are significantly better than on my MTS, so I want to try and improve them on the MTS. You can never have too much brake available.
19 sty 2019 · The biggest difference I saw/felt was where the torque comes in between the 17 and 18’. It was noticable to me that the torque on the 1260 was about 750-1000 revs earlier than on the previous 1200 DVT. I had the 18’ for a couple of days and got to ride it on twisty roads against the previous year models.

9 wrz 2013 · The stealer replaced the barrels, pistons and rings, replaced the bearings (basically rebuilt the whole motor and heads) under warranty. Cost to dealer (or factory) was US $8000. Looks like its a common thing, so Im holding thumbs cos my MTS1200 has now got 30,000km on the clock and is 3.5 years old. In my shed;-.
20 paź 2011 · Remove spring to the rear header. Remove the three bolts holding the forward header. Loosening and actually taking the header off is pretty easy and makes the install much easier. Save this metal gasket. Once you gently pull the front header off and firmly wiggle the assemble the complete system should slowly come off.

1 maj 2019 · Replacing fuel level sensor. The fuel level sensor went out on my 2011 Multistrada a couple of weeks ago, so I pulled the tank, removed the old sensor from the bottom of the tank, and got a new one yesterday. I thought it would be as simple as screwing the new sensor in and putting everything back together, but apparently Ducati changed ...

If the distance traveled exceeds 99,999 Miles (or kilometers) the value 99999 will be displayed permanently." Maybe other years are different. So NO resetting.
