9 lip 2017 · If you don't feel like hunting down period-appropriate documentation and tools, your best bet is probably a MS-DOS floppy image paired with a modern bootloader that supports memdisk features. syslinux / isolinux and GRUB4DOS comes to mind. 17 lip 2017 · Injecting the Programs into the DOS Boot Disk. Open the DOS 6.22 boot floppy disk using WinImage. Select Image > Change Format, and increase the size of the boot disk to 2.88 MB - this will give you the space you'll need to inject your programs into it.
30 gru 2019 · Using an old style PC floppy drive connected by ribbon cable to the motherboard and drive set to first boot device, disk 1 will boot. As per the other comments, disk 1 will boot fine mounted in vbox/vm player too.
