Slide the mode switch at the top of your remote to pick the device you want to control (DIRECTV, AV1, AV2, and TV). If you can’t adjust the TV’s volume, you need to program your TV using the steps below before changing the TV’s input source.
A fast-blinking green light - the batteries are okay but may need to be replaced soon. A slow, blinking green light or no light - your remote needs new batteries. Remove the battery cover and insert two new AA batteries. Check that the remote is set to control your DIRECTV receiver.
27 cze 2022 · If it is defective, you can order a new remote online from websites like Amazon, eBay, or Solid Signal. You may also go through DIRECTV and call them for a new remote (number in my greeting below). If you have the Protection Plan with DIRECTV, a new remote is free of charge.

4 maj 2023 · It happens to everyone. Maybe it got dropped one too many times, or maybe you’re trying to use an old remote with a new box. Either way, you may need to reset it. No matter which remote you have, as long as it has a DIRECTV logo on it there’s a very easy way to reset it.
