19 mar 2020 · The differential diagnosis of these cyst-like changes in the thyroid cartilage includes degenerative cysts of the thyroid cartilage, post-traumatic [1, 2] or post-radiotherapy cysts [1], chondromas, chondrosarcomas [1, 2] or metastases [3].
Our case report is focused on cyst-like lesions of the thyroid cartilage, which are uncommon incidental findings when imaging is performed. The aim of this case report is to illustrate the ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging appearances of these cyst-like formations.
