18 paź 2023 · So I’d say it is likely that them saying car was not returned on time is just bs. The paperwork they give you will list the time range you can return without surcharge. The last 3 day car rental I did says 50 hours to 74 hours. So it’s 2 hours grace period for late return and can return as early as 2 hours past 2 days.

I’ve used costco for rental cars quite a few times in the US and Europe. One of the perks; in addition to good prices, is that you get an additional driver for free. It also seems like they are less likely to try to upsell you on cars or insurance when they see a corporate rate like costco. 2.

One thing about Costco rentals: the price you see is what you pay. Other rental agencies may not show the exact cost of the extras like state and local fees. Of course at the pick-up desk, they may try to cajole you into upgrading the car size, add on the collision damage waver, etc., but the original car rate will be the same as you booked.

Did a bit of research. NCR has customer rating of about 33% while major rental companies' (Enterprise, Alamo, etc.) is typically about 75% to 80%.
Yes, I rented through Costco about three weeks ago during the holidays. Not only was able to get a rental car when there is no availability through the Avis’ direct website but I also receive substantial discounts and an upgrade. I’ve rented a car thru Costco several times.
