Consumer News and Business Channel Europe (referred to on air simply as CNBC) is a business and financial news television channel which airs across Europe. The station is based in London, where it shares the Adrian Smith -designed [1] 10 Fleet Place building with organisations including Dow Jones & Company.
CNBC Europe ging im März 1996 auf Sendung. Mutterkonzern war das Rundfunk- und Fernsehnetzwerk NBC.Im Februar 1998 fusionierte der Sender mit dem europäischen Nachrichtenkanal von Dow Jones, European Business News (EBN).Im Juli 2005 kündigte NBC Universal an, den Anteil von Dow Jones zurückzuerwerben. Seit Dezember des Jahres gehört CNBC Europe wieder vollständig dem Mischkonzern.

Elle est lancée sous le nom CNBC Europe en mars 1996 et fusionne avec sa concurrente European Business News, créée en 1995.
