The Olympic and Paralympic Games Brisbane 2032 currently includes 37 proposed venues, set to host the 28 Olympic and 22 Paralympic sports. In our plan, over 80% of venues are existing or temporary, reducing the Games' overall cost and environmental impacts, while minimising disturbances to our community in the lead up to 2032.
The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Queensland over four weeks, starting with the Olympic Games from 23 July to 8 August 2032 and followed by the Paralympic Games from 24 August to 5 September 2032.
Brisbane 2032 is expected to accommodate more than 16,000 athletes and officials during the Olympic Games and around 8,000 during the Paralympic Games. All accommodation provided to athletes will be near the competition venues, with the average athlete travel time expected to be less than 20 minutes.
