29 wrz 2020 · Cases of women with ectopic pregnancy suspected to be molar in nature should be managed as any other case of ectopic pregnancy. If there is a local tissue diagnosis of ectopic molar pregnancy, the tissue should be sent to a centre with appropriate expertise for pathological review.

18 kwi 2020 · Ectopic Pregnancy (EP) occurs in around 1–2% of all pregnancies, and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Over 98% implant in the Fallopian tube. The mainstay of diagnosis is by transvaginal ultrasound supported by serial serum human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) measurements.
Results: All the guidelines point out the crucial role of sonography in the prompt diagnosis of EP and describe similar sonographic findings. There is a consensus on the indications and contraindications to the use of methotrexate, the post-treatment surveillance, and the criteria of expectant management.
