There are multiple steps involved in the process and some pre-requisites, discussed below: Pre-requisites: The MBR disk must have at most 3-partitions. The OS must be 64-bit.
In order to access BIOS via it's hotkey at boot, you may also need to turn off Fast Boot in BIOS setup which can cause it to bypass the hotkey trigger. If this isn't working correctly I'd check for a UEFI firmware update as many changes were made to bring these UEFI BIOS' fully funcitonal in the past seven years.

I quickly made a linux live usb because I don't have a cd drive, then I installed linux on my machine, and it worked perfectly. Then I decided to install a windows and I met the same problem. No drive seen by the installer. I tried with windows 7, 10, 11.
Dopiero teraz zauważyłem, że gdy uruchamiam Windows z "nowego" dysku to nie widzę w eksplorerze dysku "starego". Dzisiaj chciałem dołożyć jeszcze jeden innych "nowy" dysk SSD 2TB M.2 i tego dysku także moje nowe Windows nie widzi. Gdy uruchamiam stare Windows z dysku 512GB, móje nowe dyski 1TB i 2TB są "normalnie" widoczne i dostępne.
