2 gru 2023 · This is going to be a somewhat long post concerning a common crash I've been experiencing with ARK: Survival Ascended and the endless tinkering and attempts at debugging that I've tried. What I've posted here has thus far worked for me. This should work on Windows 10 and likely Windows 11.

All crashes fixed. Details... Turn off Nvidia reflex technology. This seems to cure the remaining random crash with device hung. So to recap do the following for stability. Turn off DLSS and Frame Gen + reflex which is everything in that RTX tab. Turn off menu animations in the UI tab. Turn off fluid interactions.
I've been having these DXGI crashes off and on for a week or so now but today I couldn't play for more than 3 or 4 minutes without a crash. Did the DDU/reinstall GPU drivers, rebooted, validated, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, disabled HAGS, nothing was working.
