APA style is the style most frequently used for courses in the College, but there are some exceptions. Always follow the style the course instructor requests. This might include variations that do not align with the rules written in this Format, Reference, and Citation Guide.

The reference list must have the title word References, which should capitalised, in bold and centred. The reference list should contain full details of all the sources mentioned in your text, arranged alphabetically by surname of first author.

21 paź 2020 · This guide will help you set up an APA Style student paper. The basic setup directions apply to the entire paper. Annotated diagrams illustrate how to set up the major sections of a student paper: the title page or cover page, the text, tables and figures, and the reference list.
Reference Guide for Journal Articles, Books, and Edited Book Chapters. Invert names so that the last name comes first, followed by a comma and the initials. Leave a space between initials. Retain the order of authors’ names. Place the year in parentheses. End with a period.
These are not used in APA style. Always use the Author (Year) and (Author, Year) formats. Important Notes: 1. Each reference cited in text must appear in the reference list and vice-versa.
