Are there any applications or games that can run on Android 2.2 or 2.3? A few particular things that would interest me are: Media players (primarily use MX Player for video and AIMP for audio, but if there's any others, feel free to suggest!)

You can find a bunch of games on ApkMirror. Just search the game up then your android version. For Example is you want Fruit Ninja You would Search up on Google: Fruit Ninja apk for Android 2.3.

Let me suggest you a strategy game and one of the best devs on mobile. Kingdom Rush (all of them) And then a golf game: super stickman golf 1 and 2 and most recently golf blitz.
