10 paź 2020 · You now have a patched boot.img ready to flash to either slot with fastboot or boot via fastboot, would recommend booting as this is risk free, if it's a bad image for whatever reason and you choose to flash then your phone may bootloop.
8 wrz 2020 · I managed to patch the boot.img with Magisk 20.4 (20400). Then I replaced the patched boot.img and updated to Android 11 with "flash_all.bat" method. However, the phone did not boot until I flashed stock original boot.img from Android 11 system image.

So what you need to do is switch over to the Canary build. Then you will also have to change the Magisk Update Channel from within the app’s Settings.
28 sie 2020 · Replace the boot image by the patched boot image on your computer by fastboot flash boot xxx.img. fastboot reboot will boot you into OS where you can verify root as next step recommends. This the normal way of rooting using patched images and will not affect your installed apps.
