14 sie 2011 · Sadly, USA is used even though the acronym makes no sense in Spanish. The acronym EE. UU. follows the Spanish convention that plural words have the same letter, but repeated: EE. (=Estados) UU. (=Unidos) CC. (=Comisiones) OO. (=Obreras)
