Xbox 360 VGA adapter. Unless you have the latest model (Xbox 360 E), you should be good. Your vga-hdmi adapter may work, but the analog-digital conversion will produce latency. Since they made a cable specifically for VGA connections, it would be better to go that route.
I just picked up an Xbox 360 VGA adapter after reading about how it's the only way to get 1080p out of the 360. But i assumed that was written before HDMI was added to the system but I'm not sure. Almost all 360 games are rendered at 720p and then scaled.

12 lip 2007 · I've now decided I'd like to try a normal 4:3 17" CRT monitor using a resolution of 1280 x 1024 via an Xbox 360 VGA cable (I've already ordered an official one). I read somewhere this should still give me a much better picture than my standard CRT TV I've been using as a cheap way to get HD gaming, will I have any problems with this set up?
