17 lis 2005 · Unpdating an item we reported earlier: The Chicago Tribune reports that WKQQ(FM) in Lexington, Ky., has yanked a billboard promotion in which air talent ‘Kitten’ removes one piece of clothing each time the local football team wins a game.
Here’s one for your station promo director to consider, or run away from: Create a big billboard ad showing your attractive air talent, then announce that every time the local sports team wins a game, a piece of clothing comes off the photo. That’s what Clear Channel’s WKQQ is doing.
That was the billboard in Lexington, Kentucky that featured WKQQ 100.1 on-air personality/hottie “Kitten.” As an incentive for the God-awful University of Kentucky football team, Kitten promised she would remove one article of clothing for every UK win.
