To use that recovery tool you need Service tag number from the label at the bottom of your laptop. Update = Replace old bugs with new ones.

Double click the eicfg_remover.exe file to launch it. Browse to where the Windows 7 Image (.ISO file) is stored, select it and click Open. That’s it! the ei.cfg file is now removed.

I was wondering if there is a link to download windows 7 Home Premium I need to activate my windows because I don't want to reinstall my recovery disk. And even that When I try to reinstall windows 7 with my recovery disk it gives me all this application and it just laggs my computer up like non other? Thanks Guys:)

Note: You may receive a notice to contact the PC manufacture if you have an OEM key that came with your computer, but it can't hurt to try.

Yes, you can download an ISO file for Windows 7, but you will need a valid Product Key to activate Windows 7 after you install it. It is highly doubtful that you can purchase a valid copy of Windows 7 complete with Product Key. These have not been available for many years.
