10 kwi 2023 · For the EDDDA, Chair Khalil Dabaja motioned to approve the regular meeting minutes of March 16, 2023 and was seconded by Amanda Bright McClanahan. Motion was unanimously and motion was approved. For the WDDDA, Chair Tahrik Alcodray motioned to approve the regular minutes of march 16, 2023 and was seconded by Tom Clark.
At the April 2020 Joint Board meeting, the East and West Dearborn DDAs authorized a budget of $2350 each for Movies in the Park to host four movies in the summer of 2020. Costs include the screen operations, licensed movie and marketing materials.
The EDDDA wishes to offer a community garden in the DDA to improve a landscape area, as well as offer the community an opportunity to have access to fresh foods, community placemaking and networking.
There are two businesses in the East and West Dearborn DDA ( Koja Sushi and LaFork) that have decided not to utilize the outdoor seating platforms that were placed in front of their restaurants in June 2021. They have requested that the DDDA remove the platforms to free up additional parking.
21 kwi 2022 · The East Dearborn Downtown Development Authority (EDDDA) wishes to advocate and promote a clean, safe and attractive downtown. The previous Landscape and Maintenance provider, W H Canon, sold their company and the owner opted not to continue with the EDDDA contract slated to run April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
