23 sie 2010 · My suggestion would be to go further, change the encryption from WEP to at least WPA, and WPA2 would be better. The Verizon routers support this, except maybe the Actiontec Rev. A, and if your wireless PC is reasonably recent, it will also (probably should check first).
3 paź 2014 · To login to your Wi-Fi router, open up a browser and go to 192.168.1.1 and then login with the password located on the sticker on the router itself. (The username is always admin). Once there, click on Advanced Security Settings on the left-hand side.
