PRIVATE ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS (POWTS) Domestic wastewater is defined as the type of wastewater normally discharged from plumbing facilities in private dwellings or commercial domestic establishments and includes sanitary, bath, laundry, dishwashing, garbage disposal and cleaning wastewaters.
