14 paź 2024 · The LS1/LS6 (Gen III) motors don't exist anymore as off the shelf crate engines. There is such a minimal overbore the factory sleeves can accept, rebuilding a used block is iffy The easiest thing to to is to convert to an LS3. The LS3 is slightly different for some sensor locations, but pretty much bolts in with minor mods and an ECM tune.

5 kwi 2024 · A used ls1 looking online costs like 3.5k. Would like to ideally stay cheaper than that, I’ve heard that lq9 6.0 or 5.3 lm3 fits. 22 wrz 2015 · C3 General - early LS1 engines in a C3 Corvette - hhh. I wouldn't offer this, however you asked. The 98's were considered a bastard child, no pun intended. 2 lis 2014 · This new engine fires 1-8-7-2-6-5-4-3. The cylinders are numbered the same: left bank: 1-3-5-7 and right bank: 2-4-6-8. The reason for the new firing order is better idle stability and less vibration. Very good reading on the LS1 engine.
