5 lip 2023 · The superficial branch of the ulnar nerve supplies sensory innervation to the anterior aspect of the ulnar 1½ digits (little finger and half of the ring finger) and medial palmar skin. Additionally, it provides motor innervation to the palmaris brevis muscle in the hypothenar region of the hand.

The deep branch of the ulnar nerve innervates the three hypothenar muscles, the two medial lumbricals, the seven interrosei, the adductor pollicis and the deep head of the flexor pollicis brevis. 24 lip 2023 · The ulnar nerve innervates the flexor muscles of the forearm including the flexor carpi ulnaris and flexor digitorum profundus. It also innervates the intrinsic muscles of the hand including the palmaris brevis, lumbricals, hypothenar and interossei muscles.
Cutaneous innervation of the ulnar nerve is supplied by the dorsal and palmar branches of the ulnar nerve. The ulnar nerve terminates by dividing into a superficial and a deep branch below the flexor retinaculum.
