And what's worse, Spotify key accuracy places dead last (< 33%) among leading automated key detection algorithms again and again and again. With the ability to search the key of any song on Spotify, it's no wonder Tunebat keeps getting suggested.

It's pretty straightforward and having a basic understanding of tempo and rhythm is really important for DJing and, as you've found, the automated BPM detection isn't always accurate, so knowing how to find the BPM yourself helps you resolve any confusion.
1 gru 2023 · The best way to go about this to future-proof yourself is to mix by ear and play tunes that you think sound good together. Have fun, make a mess, and keep going.
