7 cze 2016 · This angle is called the. In the image, Duna is roughly 45° "ahead" of Kerbin. (Remember that the planets all orbit counterclockwise.) You can also say that the phase angle is 45°. When you launch your ship into Kerbin orbit, make sure that the phase angle between Kerbin and Duna is 45°.
7 wrz 2014 · No noticed performance issues on 32bit KSP, Win 8.1. My install is heavily modded (right up to the limits of 32bit). If I were to make a small suggestion, it would be to include more info in the "copy transfer properties" button, such as the dV needed, or to have it call Kerbal Alarm Clock to set an alarm 1d before the selected transfer window.
28 lut 2023 · Here is a transfer window map, basically you align Kerbin as shown in the map and wait for your target planet to align. Usually, we say the angle of the transfer window when referring to it. We find the angle of the transfer window by drawing a line from Kerbin to Kerbol (The Sun) then to target planet, the angle formed at the sun would be the transfer angle e.g. the transfer to Jool would be ...
12 mar 2022 · Kerbal Transfer Illustrator Link: https://kerbal-transfer-illustrator.netlify.app Description: The Kerbal Transfer Illustrator is a set of mission planning tools inspired by alexmoon's Launch Window Planner, Arrowstar's KSPTOT, and krafpy's MGA Planner, among other things. It consists of 4 interc...
10 mar 2016 · I use the Transfer Window Planner which tells me the angles for the planets and trajectories, but I don't see that it will pin down the exact day for the transfer window for me. Can anyone tell me if A) there is a List recorded somewhere of when transfer windows will come up, and B) if I am correct that the Year 11 Return from Duna window will fall at about day 250?
20 lut 2021 · And yes there are more than 3 steps here, sue me! Your training on the 3 core concepts took place way up there - everything down here is bonus material at this point. 1. Find the proper Transfer Window for the planet you want to go to, and line the angles up accordingly.2.
22 sie 2013 · I have just heard (and it makes sense) that there is a specific best time to launch straight up from KSP where you can bypass all this getting-into-Kerbin-orbit stuff and end up with a Solar orbit that will bring you into the SOI of your target planet. I *think* it's the same launch window, but you burn straight prograde or retrograde.
17 lis 2013 · Edit: 2017-03-29 Note that this data is no longer valid for new (1.0+) versions of KSP. I used Alexmoon's Launch Window Planner to find and document all of the "ideal" launch times for all interplanetary transfers within the first 5 years of the game (limited Moho transfers to 3/year since there's a ton).
23 lip 2020 · The eventual transfer found and delta-v needed is the same as before but takes less time to find. For example a transfer search from Kerbin to Duna takes the same time. A transfer search from Moho to Eeloo takes 15% of the previous time. Technical Improvements. When verbose mode is enabled, print details if a problem occurs during a transfer ...
12 mar 2022 · Inspiration: alexmoon's Launch Window Planner. The basic idea for this project was to take alexmoon's Launch Window Planner and add a few useful features – interactive 3D visualizations of transfer trajectories, additional transfer options, the ability to enter fully customized parking orbits, and a way to optimize transfers for highly-accurate in-game use.
