6 kwi 2005 · First, determine if any of your keys are just sticky. Wiggle and play with all of them to see if you can determine which ones. If you can unstick them, you're done. If they are not sticky, but are broken, you'll need to replace your keyboard. If you're handy with a screwdriver you can do it yourself.

The 301 error code will only display the first key that is "stuck" so if you have multiple stuck keys, then you have to fix them one-by-one. It's definitely a problem with your keyboard and a new one should eliminate the 301 boot errors.
4 cze 2006 · If you have a stuck key when powering up the laptop, there will be a two digit code displayed before the "301". That is the scancode for the key which is causing a problem. How do you know which key it is? Well, that information is not in the Hardware Maintenance Manual (where it should be).
