The goal of high-energy and particle theory research in the Center for Theoretical Physics (CTP) is to enable discoveries of physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM), both through precision tests of the Standard Model itself and through detailed studies of possible new phenomena.
Particle physics or high-energy physics is the study of fundamental particles and forces that constitute matter and radiation. The field also studies combinations of elementary particles up to the scale of protons and neutrons , while the study of combination of protons and neutrons is called nuclear physics .
Theoretical High Energy Physics. The research of the THEP group deals with various aspects of the fundamental interactions of nature and of the elementary constituents of matter. It ranges from perturbative quantum field theory for the strong and electroweak interactions of quarks and leptons to effective field theories, theories within ...

Advances in High Energy Physics is an open access journal that publishes theoretical and experimental research on the nature and interactions of energy and matter. As part of Wiley’s Forward Series, this journal offers a streamlined, faster publication experience with a strong emphasis on integrity.
The high energy theory group covers a wide range of fields, including quantum field theory, string theory, quantum gravity models in various dimensions, the theory of turbulence, particle cosmology, phenomenology of the Standard Model and beyond, and also computer simulations of problems that arise in these areas.
