We arrived 1.5 hrs early at the "W" for their grand opening of the Ghost Bar (as advertised and reported in the Dallas Morning News). We were very close to the front of the line (less than 10 people were in front of us) so we thought we'd get in at a reasonable hour.

Expensive drinks for contemporary decor. This bar is Free for women on most nights. If there is an event or someone popular there it will be a $20 cover charge for women and men (men always have to pay). The bar itself is very beautiful but drinks are expensive and the atmosphere is stuffy.

We visited the W hotel in Dallas expecting a vibrant nightlife. It would be a beautiful place for a new bar to go in. I can see how it would not be a sustainable income because most people have local bars that they frequent. Suggest edits to improve what we show.
