20 mar 2013 · Check Mods Folder: Your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\ folder should look like the picture, with three items inside... two folders, one called "Overrides" and one called "Packages" and one file called Resource.cfg. Double-click on the folder called "Packages" to open it.
23 wrz 2021 · The mods folder is empty due to respect for CC & Mod Creators but that doesn’t mean ya can’t fill it with your own junk! It has mostly all the folders within it to keep your mods and CC neat and tidy! So just download it and throw some mods into it!
From your start menu, it's File Explorer>Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Mods. I just did the Windows 10 thing, too. It's a little bewildering til you figure out where all your familiar stuff is now.

Download the resource.cfg file and place it in the Mods folder (not in the Packages folder): Resource.cfg.
