He (or she) will need to get married and continue the family line. Your objective is to lead the family to fortune and success throughout the course of 10 generations.

7 maj 2024 · At first I thought it would be a fun idea to play through several centuries, in which my sim family would be involved, shaping their legacy and simnation’s history, however I got a bit carried away, and made a plan for a 36 generation legacy challenge.

A legacy challenge is a challenge created by Pinstar that challenges a player to play a family through 10 generations. The player starts with one adult Sim by themselves in what is known as a "legacy lot" (a lot, usually 50x50 or 60x50, with only the bare necessities for the Sim).
TL;DR, gimme my spreadsheet. You can view and download at the link, but you can't edit it. I know a lot of people undertake legacy challenges or just like to document progress for certain aspects of the game. I spent so long on this Excel that I decided I might as well share it.
