Peter LaGana created this tried and true design in 1966 for the US Military in the Vietnam War. The Model 1 Tomahawk is the updated version of the famous VTAC. The original Vietnam Tomahawk design featured a wood handle, an axe head with reverse spike and a leather sheath. LaGana produced around 4,000 Tomahawks which were used by soldiers and marines in the Southeast Asian jungles.
