Southwest Tennessee Community College is a public community college in Memphis, Tennessee. As the product of a merger between two colleges in 2000, the school has two campuses in Memphis and several satellite centers. It is operated by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
At Southwest Tennessee Community College, community is our middle name. As a teaching and learning college, our students pursue associate degrees and technical certificates and engage in workforce development training to prepare them for the demands of an evolving marketplace.
We offer on-campus, online and hybrid programs, credit and non-credit classes. High school students can jump-start college through dual enrollment, and Southwest students can transfer credits toward a bachelor’s degree.
