It challenges the notion that knowledge and meaning are inherent or objective truths, arguing instead that they are products of social processes.
First, the historicization of constructionism has been avoided by constructionists and critics alike; and, second, the epistemological concerns have been dominated by realist-anti-realist debates. I conclude by inviting further responses on these questions for a future issue of the journal.
