Mad River is Ohio's largest ski resort just a short drive from Dublin. Mountain Stats: 1,460 ft. mountain elevation. 300 ft. vertical drop. 144 skiable acres. 20 trails. 12 lifts including 6 chair lifts, 2 handle tows, 1 rope tow, and 3 surface carpet lifts.
Along with the most expansive skiable terrain in Ohio, Mad River Mountain is home to the state’s largest snow making system. With 133 fan guns the Resort has the ability to pump over 7,000 gallons of water per minute to cover 100 percent of their terrain.
Snow Valley is the oldest ski resort in Southern California, located in Running Springs, San Bernardino County. It has 12 lifts, 29 trails, and a terrain park, and is owned by Alterra Mountain Company.
Mad River Mountain is located just Northwest of Columbus, and features 144 skiable acres, a Terrain Park, 20 trails, and Bubly, Ohio’s Largest Tubing Park with ten 1000 foot lanes.
Parking at Mad River Mtn. As you drive down Snow Valley Rd. you will pass the bubly Tubing Park. Just past the tubing park you will see our two main buildings, the ski lodge and rental building, on your left. There is a large open area in front of these buildings available for parking.
