31 maj 2024 · Steam users will no longer use the Skyrim SE page to launch the game and instead use the SKSE64 launcher. SkyUI will not function if the Steam launcher is used. More information on how to launch the game with SKSE64 and SkyUI in STEP FOUR below.
30 gru 2017 · Assuming you launched the game correctly from skse64_loader.exe , you need to edit your plugins file manually to make sure SkyUI is selected properly. I had the same problem and fixed it like that. C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition\Plugins.txt
2 lis 2020 · My issue is with mods requiring SKSE not working. My example for this will be SkyUI since it has a useful(?) pop up message during installation. Even though I used different resources, which were all kinda telling me the same, I found Gophers guides really useful.
20 maj 2020 · The fix for this is to use SSEEdit to set Skyrim.esm as a master file for SkyUI and the problem seems to have fixed itself. admittedly this has now caused $ to appear in front of almost every piece of menu text, but that's a separate issue that ill start working on now.
It seems as though SkyUI just can't detect this version of SKSE64 but other other SKSE-dependent mods are working just fine and give me no error messages. Is there a fix to force SkyUI to recognize that SKSE is there?
The only reason for SkyUI not to work would be if you didn't install SKSE64 properly.
