It consists of four campuses called Boystown and Girlstown located in different areas of Silang, Cavite and Metro Cebu The founder of SMS was the American diocesan priest Aloysius Schwartz .
The Sisters of Mary opened Talisay Girlstown in 1985 and now they are able to serve 3,300 young girls and give them an opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty. The girls study a full academic curriculum alongside arts, sports and technical skills.

The Sisters of Mary Schools (SMS) were founded as part of the mission of the Religious Congregation of the Sisters of Mary, established by Venerable Aloysius Schwartz on August 15, 1964, in Busan, South Korea.
We currently have 1970 girls in our care at school in Talisay, Cebu. The girls study a full academic curriculum alongside arts, sports and technical skills. The girls at our school are safe, well cared for and enjoy their childhood free from the concerns of poverty.
On March 19, 1995, another Boystown opened in Minglanilla, Cebu. Nine years later, on March 16, 2004, the Boystown in Adlas, Silang, Cavite, was inaugurated. Currently, the Girlstowns and Boystowns in the Philippines are taking care of 9,358 students.
