The National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, was opened on 20 October 1995 by Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew. [1] The National Orchid Garden is located in the Central Core of the gardens.
Located within the Botanic Gardens the National Orchid Garden is simply amazing. Hundreds of orchids on display most in full bloom. Admission is only a dollar for seniors - and admission to the wonderful Botanic Gardens is free.
The National Orchid Garden in Singapore is the peaceful home of the largest display of tropical orchids in the whole world. Situated on the highest hill with the lush surroundings of Botanic Gardens Singapore, this place possesses a whopping number of 60,000 orchids.
The Gardens is free entry for everyone and we are open daily 5am to 12mn, even on Public Holidays. Our only ticketed attraction is the National Orchid Garden, where you may purchase tickets at its entrance.
