Salvation from sins is achieved through developing and understanding the purpose of life as established by The Holy Quran, gaining knowledge about sinful conditions through over 600 commandments of The Holy Quran and making “righteousness” as the guiding principle of decision making.

Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them…
“There should be from among you a group who call mankind to virtue and enjoin what is good and forbid what is wrong; and they are those who shall receive salvation.” (Qur’an; 3:104) Enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong are two important Islamic requisites from the Qur’an.
It is salvation from evil, harm, difficulties and finally from the Hell in the Hereafter. It is also salvation to goodness, virtue, well-being, felicity, success and finally the divine bliss and eternal happiness in Heaven. Let us see how this works within Islamic religious thought.
