1 paź 2024 · THe Rodanthe Pier is another one of Hatteras Island's piers that looks as though it may not be there the next time we visit. It's a little crooked looking but nevertheless, stable. They were featuring live music one night during our stay on the island and it was a very nice to sit on the pier and listen to live music.
Pier hours will be 6am - 9pm until Memorial Day, and then extend to 6am - 12am following the holiday. For the regulars, this is still the same great place you love to fish. If you're a visitor, adventurer, or just looking for something new to do at the Outer Banks, Rodanthe Pier welcomes sightseers and fishermen of all levels to come check us out.
Rodanthe is the easternmost point of North Carolina. It is famous for its observation of "Old Christmas" on January 6, formerly Christmas, December 25, by the Julian Calendar, a custom held over from the original settlers who still used the "Old Style" calendar.
