River Birch collects and treats landfill gases in our gas purification plant. The high-BTU landfill gas is processed, compressed and fed to a natural gas pipeline for future energy use. This reclaiming of this recycled gas is equivalent to producing over 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel per day.
