To use Remote Desktop, you'll have to enable it on the target computer first. Then, you can use a client computer to connect to the target Windows 7 PC using its IP address or hostname.
4 gru 2015 · Remote Desktop requires TCP port 3389 to be open. Also, opening UDP port 3389 enables acceleration since RDP 8.0. It is possible to change the port used by the terminal server (or PC which is accessed), see this Microsoft support article: How to change the listening port for Remote Desktop .
31 sie 2022 · You can open the Remote Desktop Connection client by going to Run –> mstsc. Simply put, the default port for using the Remote Desktop Protocol is 3389. This port should be open through Windows Firewall to make it RDP accessible within the local area network.
You need to ensure that your firewall is configured to allow in RDP connections, add an exception for the RDP application, or for port 3389. You also need to ensure RDP is enabled on the machine, right click on my computer, go to properties and into remote settings.
