13 cze 2024 · Found in the Siskiyou National Forest (near Brookings) the Redwood Nature Trail is one of the best spots to see redwoods in Oregon. The short trail passes a stunning grove of medium-growth redwoods peppered alongside Douglas fir.
While it’s hard to find good places to see Redwoods in Oregon (as opposed to California which has tons of them), there’s still spots across the state which have them and in this post I’ll cover 5 specific areas where you’ll find these trees.

The Oregon Redwoods Trail is a short loop through mixed-species uplands with some small old-growth redwoods. The “Barrier Free” (wheelchair accessible) part of the loop runs along a ridge to a cluster of half a dozen mid-sized redwoods, while the rest of the loop descends a hillside to a more widely-scattered collection of mid-sized redwoods.
