The purpose of this experiment is to observe responses for RC and RL circuits with an oscilloscope. A method for measuring the time constant is applied to response observations, and results are. compared to theoretical ones. A secondary purpose is to introduce and familiarize lab participants.
Introduction. In this laboratory you will examine a simple circuit consisting of only one capacitor and one resistor.
