The newly elected President Vahagn Khachaturyan assumed office at the special sitting of the RA National Assembly on March 13, 2022. He delivered a speech on the challenges and opportunities for the future of Armenia, emphasizing the importance of state institutions, democracy, and national unity.
3 mar 2022 · Vahagn Khachaturyan, nominated by the ruling My Step faction, won the second round of the presidential election with 71 votes. He was the sole candidate as the opposition boycotted the vote.
