14 wrz 2022 · To the computer its self is my headset wireless adapter the hub and an external hard drive. I thought it was just because the hub is not supplying enough power so i went from a computer powered one to a 36w external power to now a 48w hub. I have disabled the power management on the USB drivers and in the HID drivers.
24 sie 2022 · If in doubt you can try a powered USB hub to give it an assist. Or just try another. I'll give you everything possible to try for USB dysfunction which we see a lot here: 1) Update your Chipset and USB drivers from the PC maker's Support Downloads web page for your full model number, HP Serial Number, or Dell Service tag from the sticker on PC.
9 paź 2023 · I see the same thing on Windows 11. It doesn't matter if I am using a USB 3.0 Powered HUB, USB 2.0 powered hub or the USB ports on the motherboard. This especially seems to happen if I am trying to copy large files from a USB device to my SATA drives, (SSD's). Sometimes it will reconnect on it's own and sometimes all USB device are non-responsive.
9 cze 2023 · I have been able to use the new USB 4 Port Hub (which I have connected to the front USB port of my Xbox Series X) to power my Wireless Xbox Headphones Dongle, Charge Controllers, Charge My Wireless Xbox Headset, etc.,etc.,etc. Anyways looks like everything is fine now.
15 wrz 2019 · Windows Key+X > Click Device Manager > Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers > Right-click USB Root Hub option and click Properties > Go to Power Management tab and uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Click OK. > If you have more than one USB Root Hub, repeat this step for all.

28 lip 2016 · I recently bought an HTC Vive VR Headset and the moment I plugged it in, almost all of my other USB devices failed to get enough resources, including the ones I had previously plugged into a powered USB hub. I do have quite a few USB devices, but I've never run into this problem before in the past so I have two questions: 1.
20 mar 2020 · 4) If no newer or this doesn't help, then go to the USB category in Device Manager, open each Enhanced, Hub and Host controller, from Driver tab select Roll back if available, or if not choose Uninstall. If your keyboard and mouse are USB, first program the power button to effect the needed restart after Rolling back or uninstalling the driver.
That's by design, but you can change it if you wish. Open Control Panel > Power Options and find the Advanced Settings for your power plan. You're looking for the "USB selective suspend setting." This allows the USB hub driver to suspend power to an individual USB port without affecting the other ports.
