However, serial bus controller in Device Manager contains USB devices and USB port numbers and it seems COM Ports devices might be hidden, so please follow the steps mentioned below and check if you can see the Com Ports. Open Device Manager. Click on View in the menu bar and select Show hidden devices.

18 lip 2022 · To add a COM Port, you can launch Device Manager, highlight your Computer Name at the top of the list, select Action menu and Add legacy hardware. Follow the wizard to Install the hardware that I manually select from a list, choose Ports (COM & LPT), Standard and Communications Port. However, I would suspect this will not work with your device.
13 mar 2017 · My router (Asus TM-AC1900) supports UPnP, but I'm afraid it's not working properly because I use some programs (or devices like XBox) that are supposed to open ports but they're not being opened.
23 mar 2023 · The easiest way to check it will be to connect the device via the usb port and open device manager by right clicking on the start button. The device should be shown under usb devices. Test another device on the same port too using a different cable.

13 wrz 2009 · You can check what device is using what COM port from the Device Manager. It will be listed under the hidden devices. From the Device Manager, select View - Show Hidden Devices. Now when you expand the (PORTS) COM ports section you will see all of the COM ports listed there. To check what port is used by what service.
16 sie 2015 · I have tested it and it work fine. The only problem with it, is that, it reload the latest driver when you plug the device on a never used USB port. So, if you change place of connection, you should manually set the driver to 3.3, but you have to do that only the first time you used this port.
