24 sie 2009 · I have been driving a 2004 pete 387 250 wheelbase with a 13 and a 475 cat. The truck runs great, but that is it. I have had nothing but bad luck with it since day one.
21 lip 2011 · I have been contemplating a Peterbilt 387 (used) with CAT -15/13. What are your personal opinions on Peterbilt 387? Just checking, I do not want to start a firestorm on Peterbilt Versus other brands....I just happen to like Peterbilt Highway models.
23 mar 2006 · Pretty much settled on the 387, till I ran across a new 386, it is marketed as a slippery 379. I dont like the 379, too much of an air catcher for me, but was interested in the 386. Does any one know anything about the 386, there aren't many out there?
22 gru 2013 · Pete 387's just look like every other plastic/fiberglass bodied truck that pull a dry van or reefer trailer up and down the interstate. The 379 is the timeless classic look and style that is every trucker's wet dream.
Those are 587s that you see so often, it's what replaced the 387 8-10 years ago. The 587 is world's better than the 387 but they are still plastic crap like the Cascadia and the rest of the aero teucks.
2 kwi 2017 · I recently purchased a 2007 Peterbilt 387 from the auction in Milan, IL (Formerly Bettendorf, IA) in Feb. We then looked high and low for a shop to stretch the truck. Low and behold we found one not 15 minutes away from our home!!
