How do we select players for PDP? There are no tryouts for PDP. Players are scouted in their own environments. We have over 300 scouts across Southern California recommending players to our program. Our staff follows the SOCAL PDP Scouting Framework when selecting players to be part of PDP.
Register for the '24/'25 Tryouts by clicking the link under "Register" at the very top of the page, or under "Open Programs" on your dashboard. Complete the Registration by stepping through each step of the Registration.
NorCal Premier invites the players to tryout. NorCal Premier evaluates players and makes selections – Please note the number of players selected depends on the aim of the program or event (for more information see age group objectives below). State Selection. Player needs to be scouted by PDP staff.
The Winter Recreational Tryout Window shall open on the first Monday of November and remain open through the first weekend of February. Competitive Players currently registered in other NorCal Clubs are not permitted to attend a tryout at this time. The only time that this is permitted is during the Open Tryout Window.
As part of the PDP program, you can expect this general schedule: Fall - (start end of August through mid-November) 2x practices per week & 1 game per weekend 2 tournaments (dates TBD) Winter (Jan through early March) 1x practice per week & 1 game per weekend.
