Located amid the breathtaking scenery of the Paint Creek Valley in southwest Ohio, the 5,652-acre Paint Creek State Park features a 1,148-acre lake with fine fishing, boating, swimming and camping opportunities.
Paint Creek's large campground — nearly 200 sites — offers pet-friendly campsites including electric and full hookup. There are some premium deck sites. Off-peak Season: November 1 to March 31, sites 1-64 are available. Showerhouse, dump station, and water are available.

Paint Creek rests at the start of the Appalachian Plateau, and a short drive will show areas to the east where glaciers left land untouched. To the west, areas were mostly flattened by the glaciers.
